Atlanta Pride is excited to announce the recipients of the "Pride Across The Peach State" grant initiative, which supports LGBTQ+ organizations and events throughout Georgia. New for 2024, this initiative reflects Atlanta Pride's ongoing commitment to empowering LGBTQ+ communities and promoting inclusion across the state.
"Atlanta Pride is proud to support each of these organizations as they continue their vital work in creating safe, inclusive gatherings for LGBTQ+ people throughout Georgia," said Chris McCain, Atlanta Pride's Executive Director. "With this new grant initiative, we are excited to strengthen connections and foster unity across our diverse state."
The 2024 grant recipients represent a diverse array of organizations and initiatives that serve Georgia's LGBTQ+ community, highlighting the vibrant and dynamic nature of Pride festivals in and beyond metro Atlanta. This year, Atlanta Pride has awarded grants totaling $50,000 to the following organizations:
