Jamie Fergerson is the Executive Director of the Atlanta Pride Committee, Georgia's oldest organization serving LGBTQ individuals and allies. Atlanta Pride produces the South's largest Pride festival and the city of Atlanta's largest parade in addition to more than 80 other educational, social, and advocacy events that engage over 400,000 people each year. Prior to joining Atlanta Pride as ED in 2015, Jamie spent 15 years in non-profit program development and outcomes management with an emphasis in diversity and inclusion. Most recently, she served as the Senior Mission Manager for Komen Atlanta where she designed programs to reduce health disparities and breast cancer morbidity for women of color, immigrants, and LGBTQ individuals. She has a Masters Degree in Educational Policy and undergraduate degrees in women's studies, sociology, and political science. When she isn't planning Pride events, Jamie teaches yoga and meditation at Kashi Atlanta and orders entirely too much take out food. She also loves to spend time exploring Atlanta and traveling with her partner, dog, cat, and the most interesting person she knows, her fourth grader, Rowan.
