Elaine Hendrix may look familiar from her many iconic roles on the big screen including "Meredith Blake" in The Parent Trap (1998) and as "Alexis Carrington" in the current reboot of Dynasty. She is a longtime ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and has most recently been honored by the Human Rights Campaign with their 2022 Ally for Equality Award. Elaine has a very special connection to Atlanta, being a graduate from Northside School of Performing Arts, now known as North Atlanta High School. Throughout her 30 year career, Elaine continues to be a steadfast outspoken ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. Not just through her roles in independent films such as LezBomb, Get Your Stuff, Coffee Date, Spork, and Bam Bam & Celeste, but also because of her work with PFLAG, National Center for Human and Civil Rights, ACLU, Gay Straight Alliance, OutFest, The Trevor Project, and Northwest Arkansas' Equality Crew, to name a few.
