Founded in 2020 by DIVA Media Group, the publisher of DIVA magazine, the UK's leading magazine for lesbian and bisexual women, Lesbian Visibility Week highlights the struggles and obstacles faced by lesbian women and raises awareness about the need for greater visibility and representation of lesbian voices in society.
Visibility is a crucial issue for lesbian women, as they often face marginalization and discrimination within their communities and society as a whole. This marginalization can result in a lack of access to essential services, social isolation, and exclusion.
